Looking after hundreds of businesses across the country for all of their damage and restoration needs.

Looking for a damage restoration service and a free estimate?

Guano (also known as bird droppings) can make your property look run-down, unprofessional, and – due to its acidity – cause erosion.

Bird droppings can also cause harm to humans as they can carry diseases such as cryptococcosis and histoplasmosis.

Therefore, it goes without saying that when guano strikes, it should be removed as soon as possible.

Our bird & pigeon guano removal services can help ensure that your property is professionally cleaned and remediated.

Guano Removal from the Exterior of a Residential Property in Hertfordshire

Vinci Response Services were called to a residential property where scaffolding had been installed for some extensive roofing works.

1.0 Property

Both the house and the scaffolding were coated in bird guano which needed to be cleared and cleaned before any building works could continue.

2.0 Problem

Bird guano contains digestive enzymes, acids, viruses, and parasites, which present health and safety hazards, especially if left and not dealt with in the correct manner.

The first step was a site survey.

Our highly skilled team assessed the site to ensure that it was safe to enter and to determine what equipment would be needed to complete the decontamination safely.

A report was then prepared with recommendations for the client.

By reacting quickly to our client’s request and instructions, we were able to minimise the downtime on site to assist with keeping their project on schedule.
